I'm the daughter of a career firefighter and Pennsylvania farm girl. During my youth, I learned the value of hard work, caring about others and how important it is to put your best foot forward. I've experienced what it's like not knowing if your loved one is going to come home from work or not. I've been affected by my childhood experiences. The fact that my dad was not only a career firefighter but an officer as well and my being a Christian believer has impacted me in realizing how important it is to live one's faith daily and be there for people during both the good times and bad. That is why I am committed to Happily Offering People Encouragement.
We're a Team
I couldn't do it without them!
My Better Half
He does his best to keep the home fires burning. Our two four-legged, purring children, Miss Holly and Miss Molly, help with this.
Pat is a retired educator. We complement each other very well. What one of us may not think of in our ministry assignments, the other one does.
Bill, who illustrates my book covers, is very talented and works with a variety of art mediums. If you get a chance, stop by Kennie's Market in Taneytown, MD. He painted the mural.
